Spring, Easter and a picture of things to come!

Have you finished all of your Easter projects?  If not, here's a cute, easy one I did last year for the Spring Picnic Party  that was featured on Amy Atlas. Of course, it went perfectly with all the cute Lauren McKinsey printables! They are such a cute addition to Easter baskets. And you can personalize them however you want, eyelashes, bowtie, flowers... tons of ideas!

I found the project on Oopsey Daisy which includes a great tutorial.  Go check it out!

Also, I can't wait to share with you the 1st birthday party I did not long ago.  Here's a peek of it...

Happy FRIDAY~!

Spring Picnic (part 1)

I am so excited to show you a few photographs from the Spring Picnic I planned along with Lauren McKinsey. We had SUCH a great time and so did the attendees as you will see!

More on this party to come, including vendor information and details. Stay tuned!
Thank you to Amy Atlas for featuring our party!

bunnies and buttons

I found this burlap Easter bunny project at Oopsey Daisy and fell in love! They are so cute, plus I have an obsession a love for burlap. So I am making my own family of burlap bunnies.

Here is the first of my flock...well is it REALLY a flock of bunnies?? I don't know!

Anyway here she is! I think she needs some eyelashes, don't you?

What do you think I should name my bunny? Lila? Lucy? Lilly?

Go check out this project and try it yourself. It wasn't that hard. I had to hand sew mine because I don't have a sewing machine. If you have a sewing machine and a few skills it would be even easier. Also had to show off a few of my Lauren McKinsey goodies in this picture of course!
Love that blinged out bunny!

Another of my current loves is buttons. There are some CRAZY cute buttons out there. I fell in love with the colors in this package of buttons. Plus, flower shapes...mucho cuteness.

What are you crushing on now?

Happy Monday to you!

Spring has sprung

It's warm, windy and definitely spring.  So, we took a trip to the feed store today- Newberry Feed and Seed -to get some spring inspiration. Isn't she cute?

Then, we found these pretties!

Can you taste the summer salsa now made with fresh from the garden tomatoes?
Oh, yummers. I can't wait.  I am planting my small garden tomorrow. I am sure I will have some "hep."

My "hepper" didn't want to leave the chicks...

Here is a little more spring inspiration for you!

What is inspiring you this beautiful spring day?

Spring is coming!!

I can feel it.  It is in the air.  Literally!  I was at a trade show in South Carolina and got home last night late.  Even in the dark, I could see the yellow/green dusting on everything!  POLLEN means spring IS coming.
My poor black car!

Besides pollen, when I think of spring I think...

Birds, little ones, cute ones. So when I had to come up with something to give to Carmen at the Dreamers into Doers meetup on Saturday, I thought about spring.  Then, birds!  I put together a little decorated box (above) with a little "surprise" inside... a little bird surrounded by chocolate eggs (well, spring colored reese's cups that I told her to imagine were eggs!)

Speaking of birds, I also found these at Stacks and Stacks the other day.  LOVE. They are out of stock!  UGH.  I'm in line when they get them back in stock. I can think of so many things to do with these cuties.

Here is some more chick love for you.

If you are feeling craft, then go to the link below.  I fell in love with this last week and attempted it.  I will post pictures of my attempt soon. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but it IS cute!

Martha's project:

All of these make me think of all of the cute spring party options.  What makes YOU think of spring?
