This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and I am the homeroom mom for my little one's early learning class. I found a cute idea on Skip To My Lou that I combined with another idea. I emailed the parents in his class last week and asked that they bring in a flower for both teachers and a sweet note from their child sometime this week.
I then got to work on my part. I printed the Thank you for helping US grow editable pdf file with each child's name on it, punched them out and put them on skewers for the flower arrangements. I wrapped each colorful tin can (from Target of course!) with cute colorful chevron and flower ribbon.
As each child brings in a flower, they can be added to this arrangement and in a few days they will be full, colorful arrangements for both teachers to enjoy all week!
I also found these cute, matching thank you note cards and some ribbon that says "bloom" (TOO CUTE!) that I used to tie the cards onto each container.
I hope they enjoy them! They were fun and easy to make. Also, thank you to ALL teachers for all you do every day! Don't forget to appreciate your child's teachers! There are a lot of GREAT ideas you can tailor to fit your child's class.
What are you doing on this gorgeous Monday?
I am planning a wonderful 60th birthday party complete with an alligator a bowtie and lot's of polka dots. Incredibly cute sneak peeks to come soon! Also, working on ideas for a BOY baby shower. So many cute ideas...
