Oh Baby! Sweet Baby Shower

Happy 2012!  Why yes...it HAS been a while!

I have been a bad blogger, but this sweetness will hopefully make up for it! I couldn't have been more thrilled when I got a call from a friend who asked me to organize a baby shower.

I immediately knew what direction I wanted to go in... I saw this Lauren Mckinsey designed twin birthday photo shoot for Giggle Magazine with beautiful polka dots and knew it would be AMAZING for a baby shower, really for a girl or boy shower!  So, I begged asked Lauren McKinsey to change the printables to fit a Oh Baby (get it, O...like polka dot??) theme. She was ever so sweet to do it for me and it turned out fantastic in true Lauren McKinsey style, I should say!

It was -oh so fun- to make a cupcake flower arrangement using baby washcloths in a center cone.

And, I lucked up on a pink polka dotted frame at Hobby Lobby that had a crack...so I got a deal on it. I was - oh so- HAPPY! And, I used it for my mini OH BABY banner, strung it with twine and pinned it.

The fabric runner I used for the table was fabric I found at Hobby Lobby (see a trend here?) and LOVED.  It matched perfectly.

LOVE these straws and flags!

The party was an early afternoon party, so it was just tasty dips, chips and DESSERTS!  And, I will be sharing one of the dessert recipes with you soon and let me tell you... it is worth the wait and you won't want to miss it.  Chocolate, peanut butter and cream cheese, do I need to say more?

One of the cute party elements I loved was the wish table.  I found a cute wish list on a site I am obsessed with occasionally look through for ideas - Pinterest. I tagged it and my friend Stacy from She's {kinda} Crafty offered to send me a girl wish list. Thank you Stacy! It was a hit!

Oh BABY, this was a fun one.  I LOVED it...every minute of it.  Hope you enjoy the pictures and hope the mommy-to-be enjoys the memories of a fantastic afternoon filled with friends and wishes!
